
One of our famous dishes at the Green Mango Restaurant is the Cashew chicken. It is simple to make. Replace the chicken with beef, shrimp or even vegetables and get that deliciously sweet and mild spiced flavour that has been a favourite of many of our customers.
Here is how to make Cashew Chicken…
CASHEW CHICKEN
2 tbsp of oil
1 tbsp of garlic
200 gr of chicken
50 gr carrots
50 gr of onions
50 gr of bell peppers (red or orange)
125 ml of Cashew sauce
2 tbsp of crushed or whole cashews
100 ml chicken stock
- Sautée chicken in oil until slightly cooked. Add garlic and cook until garlic browns.
- Add carrots, onion and bell peppers and sautee for 5 mins.
- Add Cashew sauce and chicken stock.
- Continue cooking until vegetable soften to your desired softness.
- Top with crushed cashews to finish.
